How to Make Sesame Garlic Chicken

Step-by-Step

  • 15-6 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup cornstarch
    3-4 eggs (scrambled up)
    Sesame Seeds for garnish
    Scallion (I used 4 stalks)
    3 cups peanut oil for frying

    Garlic Sauce
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1 cup mirin
    1 tablespoon sesame oil
    1 teaspoon chili flakes
    1 teaspoon sesame seed
    2 tablespoons minced sautéed garlic
    1 Red pepper
    1 Green pepper

    (or use any garlic sauce already prepared from your local store)

    Directions:
    Prepare sauce in a non-stick pan, cut up red & green peppers and add to sauce on low and let cook down
    Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces
    Dip in flour, egg then cornstarch
    Put all pieces on a plate until you are done preparing all chicken
    Put oil into a non-stick pan (I used a Wok) and heat up, when heated add chicken (about 1/3 of all chicken at a time)
    Cook chicken until it gets crunchy and slightly brown
    Turn oven on “warm” and put cooked chicken in oven dish to keep warm while other chicken cooks
    Once all chicken is done, get rid of the oil in the pan and add the sauce into Wok (or leave it in the pan your using your sauce for and just add chicken)
    Coat all chicken in sauce then add your scallions and sesame seeds slightly mix.

    I made some rice, but you can put over whatever you wish.
