This dip is really easy to make and super yummy! It's supposed to be an appetizer but sometimes I make it and we just have it for dinner. If you mix the cream cheese in instead of layering, it would be really good over rice as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken breast, cooked & shredded
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 8 - green onions, sliced fine
  • 2 cups baby spinach, chopped fine
  • 1 jar sweet & sour sauce
  • 1 box wheat crackers

How To Make sesame chicken dip

  • Step 1
In a zip top bag combine cooked shredded chicken, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce and water chestnuts. Allow to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Step 2
Spread softened cream cheese on platter (I mix just a bit of the marinade with the cream cheese to flavor it a bit).
  • Step 3
Sprinkle with chicken mixture (including juice from marinade), chopped spinach and green onions, sliced fine.
  • Step 4
Drizzle with sweet & sour sauce. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with wheat crackers.
