Ingredients
- 1/2 pound andouille sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped.
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 - 14-1/2 oz can chopped tomatoes w/ chiles
- 1-1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1-1/2 teaspoon cajun seasoning
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
How To Make seafood & sausage gumbo

Step 1Spray a lg pot w/ cooking spray, place over high heat. Add sausage, onion & green bell pepper. Cook, stirring for 5 min. Add tomatoes, water, rice, garlic and cajun seasoning. Stir. Bring to boil, reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 15 min, or until rice is tender. Stir in shrimp. Return to boil. Reduce heat, simmer, covered for about 3 min, or until shrimp are pink.
