How To Make monster sandwiches
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350*F. Place dough, seams side down, on a 15" round pizza pan. Join ends of dough together to form 1 large ring. Using a serrated knife, cut six to eight diagonal slashes (½ inch deep) on top of dough. Lightly spray dough with vegetable spray. Press garlic over dough; spread evenly. Sprinkle with oregano and basil. Bake 26 - 30 minutes or until deep golden brown. Immediately remove to a cooling rack; cool completely.
-
Step 2To assemble sandwich, cut bread in half horizontally using a bread knife. Arrange meat and cheese evenly over bottom half of bread. Top with lettuce. Drizzle 2 tbsp dressing evenly over lettuce. Top with onion, bell pepper, and tomato slices; sprinkle with olives. Brush the rest of the dressing along the top inside of the bread; place over bottom half. Cut into wedges and serve.
