savory chicken crescent bundles
This recipe was given to me years ago by a dear friend, and it's been a favorite ever since. It makes four huge squares, but if you need more, it's really easy to double the recipe. For the kids, just use individual crescents and roll them up with the mixture inside. Kids love to pick them up and eat them like a little sandwich.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cut into bite-size pieces (great with rotisserie chicken)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 2 tablespoons green bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls (8)
How To Make savory chicken crescent bundles

Step 1Beat cream cheese and melted butter until smooth.

Step 2Mix the rest of the ingredients (except crescent rolls) until well blended. Then add cream cheese mixture and stir all together. (Here's where you can add other things, canned carrots, peas, chopped pimentos, chopped broccoli, olives...let your imagination go wild! )

Step 3Preheat oven to 350'F.

Step 4Unroll crescents and using two crescent rolls at a time (to form a rectangle). Press perforations together to seal.

Step 5Fill with chicken mixture and pull the 4 corners to the middle, twist together to seal.

Step 6Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds, paprika, parmesan or chopped parsley, if desired. (So many choices!)

Step 7Bake at 350'F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 8*If you'd like gravy, just use your favorite jar or gravy mix. Let's keep this, easy and quick!
