I have made this dish a few times and have found out that it also goes well with fresh grated Parmesan Cheese as well.

Ingredients

8 oz
penne rigate noodles
4
boneless chicken breast (chopped)
olive oil for cooking
2 clove
garlic
1 small
onion
1 c
swiss cheese
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1/2 c
milk
1 can(s)
mushroom stems and piecs
1 c
shredded mozzarella
1 c
bread crumbs
3 Tbsp
butter (melted)

How to Make Savory Chicken Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook Noodles
  • 2Cook Chicken,Onions,mushrooms and Garlic
  • 3Pre-Heat oven to 350 Degrees F.
  • 4Assemble noodles and Chicken in 9 x 12 Baking Dish
  • 5Mix together soup and milk in a bowl
  • 6Pour soup and milk mixture over the chicken and noodles then add cheese and mix well
  • 7Sprinkle Bread Crumbs over chicken mixture
  • 8Drizzle Butter over bread Crumbs
  • 9Cover with Aluminum Foil and Bake for 30 minutes
  • 10Turn oven to 275 Degrees F then Uncover and Bake for another 10 Minutes
