santa fe chicken
(1 RATING)
Another great Freezer Cooking recipe! NOTE: Now I usually make this in the crockpot! This chicken is bursting with flavor and very tender! I shredded it and made burritos. Black beans, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced olives, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream all wrapped up in fresh flour tortillas... It went so fast...I didn't have a chance to get photos! If you make it, please post one or I will be sure to take one the next time I make it.

How To Make santa fe chicken
-
Step 1If freezing, mix all ingredients and pour into a labeled, 1 gallon freezer bag and freeze.
-
Step 2If frozen, let thaw overnight in fridge. Add contents into a 9x13 inch baking dish treated with nonstick cooking spray. NOTE: You can also add all ingredients into a crockpot and cook on low for about 6 hours...this is what I did and it was perfect!
-
Step 3Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
