Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken wing drummettes
- - salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon chili flavored olive oil
- 1 cup coke
- 1/4 cup rum
- 3 tablespoons tabasco (or other favorite hot sauce)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make rum & coke super crispy chicken wings

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan with foil. Add chili oil & chicken. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Turn chicken in pan to coat with oil. Bake 45 - 60 minutes or until chicken is deep golden brown & super crispy, carefully pouring off liquid at the halfway point (seems like a long time at a high temp, but that's what makes them so awsome; just do it).

Step 2While wings bake...in a small saucepan, combine coke, rum, tabasco, honey & butter. Bring to boiling over high heat. Reduce heat to medium low & simmer for 30 minutes or until it reduces to a thickened glaze.

Step 3Remove wings from oven & brush generously with glaze; return to oven & bake 5 minutes more. Serve with remaining glaze & lots of napkins!
