Ingredients
- 1 package drummettes (chicken wings without the wing tips)
- - oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
How To Make roasted lemon garlic wings
-
Step 1In small bowl, add juice, zest, water & garlic; mix well. In a large zip lock bag, add chicken & then pour lemon/garlic mixture over, mushing to coat chicken. Let marinate at least 4 hours for flavors to marry.
-
Step 2In a small bowl, add salt, pepper & paprika; mix to combine. Set aside.
-
Step 3Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
-
Step 4Take a baking sheet & liberally grease with oil. NOTE: This is a very important step, because I forgot to do so & the wings stuck to the baking sheet - see last picture - but they weren't taken off yet.
-
Step 5Place drummettes evenly on oiled baking sheet. Sprinkle evenly with salt mixture. Roast 45 minutes & enjoy.
