Roast Chicken with Herb Garlic White Wine Gravy
- whole chicken cut into 8 pieces backbone removed
- sea salt and pepper

- chicken broth
- 1 c
- white wine

How to Make Roast Chicken with Herb Garlic White Wine Gravy
- 1Season the chicken with sea salt and pepper. Add oil to roasting pan and place on stove. Brown the chicken skin side down.
- 2Preheat oven 400 degrees. Pour the chicken stock and wine around the chicken pieces. Add the garlic, thyme and rosemary.
- 3Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until chicken is no longer pink. Remove chicken to serving platter.
Strain the gravy and discard the solids.
Bring to a boil on stove top.
Mix the cornstarch and water together.
Whisk in the gravy and let it thicken.
Serve with chicken over mashed potatoes,rice or pasta
