Roast Chicken with Herb Garlic White Wine Gravy
1whole chicken cut into 8 pieces backbone removed
·sea salt and pepper
2 Tbspgarlic minced
2 cchicken broth
1 cwhite wine
How to Make Roast Chicken with Herb Garlic White Wine Gravy
- Season the chicken with sea salt and pepper. Add oil to roasting pan and place on stove. Brown the chicken skin side down.
- Preheat oven 400 degrees. Pour the chicken stock and wine around the chicken pieces. Add the garlic, thyme and rosemary.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until chicken is no longer pink. Remove chicken to serving platter.
Strain the gravy and discard the solids.
Bring to a boil on stove top.
Mix the cornstarch and water together.
Whisk in the gravy and let it thicken.
Serve with chicken over mashed potatoes,rice or pasta
