reethy's kung po chicken
I made this for dinner the other night, and to my suprise; it taste better than the takeout. I hope you try it, and...ENJOY !

Ingredients
- FOR CHICKEN PREP., YOU WIL NEED
- 2 cups chopped quater size chicken pieces
- 2 - egg whites room temp.
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- FOR KUNG PO SAUCE. YOU WIL NEED.
- 1/2 cup soy sauce, light
- 1 stick sesame seed oil
- 2 tablespoons orange juice, frozen concentrate
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1or2 - shakes of cyanne pepper
- 1/4 cup agave syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 or 2 tablespoons grated ginger
- 1 small scallion
How To Make reethy's kung po chicken

Step 1heat oil to 360 F (for frying)

Step 2Beat egg whites till frothy

Step 3Add corn starch to egg mix just until incorperated together (do not deflate eggs)

Step 4Add all chicken to egg mixture mix well,

Step 5fry in oil until done and golden brown (aprox. 4 min.) drain chicken on paper towel, set aside

Step 6In bowel mix ALL ingredient for sauce, mix well

Step 7In clean skillet, (over medium heat) Add cooked chicken.

Step 8Add sauce over chicken and heat to desired temp. Serve over your choice of rice. ENJOY !
