Quick to make and, yes, spicy..Yum! I love how easyily quick it is to make! I usually serve it over rice, but it's great on its own.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1" strips
  • 1
    14 oz can diced tomatoes w/ chilis
  • 1 c
    chili sauce
  • 1-1/2 c
    chopped green bell peppers
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1 tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How to Make Quick spicy chicken creole

Step-by-Step

  1. Sparay a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. Place over high heat. Add chicken. Cook until no longer pink. Reduce heat to medium.
  2. Add tomatoes and their juices, chili sauce, bell peppers, celery, onion, garlic, basil, parsley, red pepper and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer , covered for 10 mins, stirring occasionally.
