Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed or finely minced
- 2 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts - each sliced in half to make 4 thinner breasts
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 can 14.5 oz. stewed tomatoes
- 2 small zucchini, cut in half lengthwise and sliced crosswise
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, sliced thinly (or 1/2 tsp. dried basil)
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
How To Make quick chicken with pomodoro sauce

Step 1Sprinkle/rub chicken breasts with garlic and crushed red pepper - sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 2Add 1 tbsp. oil to skillet and brown chicken over medium-high heat.

Step 3Add tomatoes, zucchini and basil. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for approx. 15 minutes or until sauce is thickened and chicken is cooked through. Stir occasionally.

Step 4Lower heat and add cream just to heat through (do not boil).
