quick chicken potpie

One of my Amish friends taught me this years ago. It's really good.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped chicken
  • 1 pound bulk sage sausage (has to be sage) cooked and drained
  • 1 large 16 oz pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed to room temp.
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • - pepper to taste
  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

How To Make quick chicken potpie

  • Step 1
    In Bowl, mix chicken, sage sausage, vegetables, soup, paprika and pepper. Blend together. Pour in a 9x13 baking dish. Whisk together bisquick and milk until smooth. Pour evenly over chicken mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes in a 350 degree pre heated oven...or until golden brown.
