Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup frozen pease and carrots
  • 1 or 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup buttermilk biscuit mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

How To Make quick chicken and dumplings

  • Step 1
    Heat 1-1/2 c. milk, peas and carrots, chicken, and soup to boiling.
  • Step 2
    Combine biscuit mix and 1/3 c. milk to form a soft dough. Drop by spoonfulls on the top of the boiling chicken mixture. Don't stir! Sprinkle with paprika. Cook uncovered on low 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
