This is a great dish that you can tailor to your taste (mild to hot) by varying the salsa. It's quick and easy for those busy nights when you've had a long day.

  • 4
    chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless (or your favorite boneless cut of chicken)
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 bottle
    favorite salsa
  • ·
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make Quick Baked Salsa Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Shake the chicken in your favorite taco seasoning mix. (Or you can make your own...) Place in a lightly greased baking dish.
  2. Pour your favorite salsa over the coated chicken. Bake in a 350 degree oven until thermometer reaches 165 degrees.
  3. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake until melted. Serve with Spanish style rice and a salad for a great family pleasing meal.
