Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2/3 - 1 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard (or mustard of your choice)

How To Make pretzel-baked chicken breasts

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Place each chicken breast under plastic wrap and pound to 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Step 3
    Combine crushed pretzel crumbs, mustard powder, onion powder, and 1/2 tsp pepper - mix well to combine.
  • Step 4
    Coat each chicken breast (front & back) with Dijon mustard and press into the pretzel crumbs until evenly coated. Use remaining crumbs to fill in spots that are bare.
  • Step 5
    Place each chicken breast on the baking sheet and lightly spray them with cooking spray. Bake approximately 15-18 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Step 6
    Serve chicken with your favorite honey mustard dressing or sauce.
