How To Make pretend company chicken

  • 1
Take chicken out of box and hide box! Place chicken in baking dish
  • 2
In pan heat Olive oil. Start onions first. After about 3-4 minutes add mushrooms and garlic. At this point I add a little butter just for moisture but you can add chicken stock if calories are an issue. Let this cook until mushrooms take on some color..but not to the point that the onions brown.

Place onions and mushroom mixture over chicken. In same pan place can of mushroom soup, rinse can out with 1/2 water and 1/2 heavy cream. If you need to cut calories you can use milk. Heat mixture thru and pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 375 for about 45 min. Serve over pasta or wild rice. The spices in the Orginal Chicken leech out into the sauce and do magical things. They'll never know what you did if you remember to hide the box. :)
