- 2 tablespoons fresh clover honey
- 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice, freshly squeezed
- - salt, kosher variety, to taste
- - white pepper, freshly ground, to taste
- 1 pound brined chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, about two regular breasts

Step 2Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).

Step 3Combine the honey, tamari sauce and lime juice in a bowl, and season with a bit of salt, and white pepper.

Step 5Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 6Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 400f (205c).

Step 7Add the chicken to an ovenproof pan with a tight-fitting lid.

Step 8Cover the chicken, and place in the preheated oven until cooked and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes.

Step 9Remove from the oven, uncover, and then place the pan under a broiler for about 1 – 2 minutes.
