I found this recipe off the internet once, when I was searching for uses for Worcestershire sauce. It's been a big hit with my friends and family since I first tried it about 5 years ago! The recipe calls for 6 chicken breasts, but I prefer chicken tenderloins for baking; they seem to come out better. I use enough tenderloins to cover the baking pan I'm using. The measurement for ingredients can easily be adjusted for how much chicken you want to make.

yield ~4-6

Ingredients

  • 6 - chicken breasts, or 8-10 chicken tenderloins.
  • 1 - bag potato chips, crushed up (i put chips in a large ziploc and crush them with hands and rolling pin)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt/granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make potato chip chicken

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease low-sided baking dish.
  • Step 2
Melt butter and add all ingredients except chicken and chips. Dip chicken in butter mixture, then roll chicken in crushed potato chips.
  • Step 3
Bake 45 minutes or until tender. If using tenderloins, bake 25-30 minutes, or until done and tender.
  • Step 4
I like to serve this with rice and some vegetable on the side.
