pork-n-beef crockpot to skillet stew w/biscuits
Dad just loves my beef stew! I have a secret to thickening my stew. This time thought it would be nice serving this to Dad in a skillet.

Ingredients
- 1 pound beef stew meat
- 1 pound pork chops bone in
- 4 cups beef stock
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 cup cola
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 2 - celery stalk cut
- 3 - carrots, cubed
- 1 small shallots cut
- 2 - garlic cloves
- 1 - 15oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 large potatoes cubed
- 3 cups vegetables of choice used fresh corn and greenbeens
- 1/4 cup potato mix (for thickening)
- BISCUITS
- - homemade or store bought
- - dried rosemary
- - garlic powder
- - melted butter
How To Make pork-n-beef crockpot to skillet stew w/biscuits

Step 1Put first 12 ingredients in crockpot, set on low. Slow cook for four hours. Remove bone from pork and discard, chopping pork and returning to crockpot.

Step 2Next add rest of ingredients. Continue to slow cook for another 4 hours. Check for seasoning.

Step 3To serve I put in small cast iron skillet with 3 biscuits brush with melted butter and sprinkled with garlic and rosemary. Baked in 400 degree oven for 5-7 min. Till golden brown. Serve in skillet.
