pork chop rice bake

I got this recipe out of a magazine. I have used pork or chicken. The rice is sooo good. Has a bite to it, with the right spices added!!

Ingredients
- 6 - pork chops, bone in or boneless
- 2 tablespoons oil (i used olive, but other oil will do)
- 1 1/2 cups rice, instant and uncooked(or long grain)
- 1 - sm. onion, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon minced dry garlic (or 1/2 garlic clove)
- 1 can crean of mushroom soup
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- - salt, pepper,creole seasoning(optional) to taste
How To Make pork chop rice bake

Step 1Use 2 Tablespoon of oil and brown chops in skillet. Season with salt, pepper, & creole seasoning. Set chops aside.

Step 2Add chopped onions to the same skillet used to brown chops , cook for 2 minites. Add rice & garlic, cook 1-2 minutes.

Step 3Add both cans of soup, water, & cheese to rice mixture. Stir until cheese is melted.

Step 4Put rice mixture into greased 9x13 pan. Put chops on top and cover. 350 degrees for 90 minutes.
