Need an easy weeknight dinner? Add this pork chop potato casserole to your menu. Out of the oven, the pork chops and potatoes are very tender. Mushroom soup gives the dish a rich flavor. This is a simple meal to prepare with only a few ingredients. Pure comfort food!

  • 6 lg
    pork chops
  • all-purpose flour
  • oil
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
  • 1/2 can
    water (cream of mushroom soup can)

How To Make pork chop potato casserole

  • Peel the potatoes.
    Peel the potatoes.
  • Slice the potatoes.
    Cut into round slices.
  • A layer of sliced potatoes in a baking dish with salt and pepper.
    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Layer the bottom of a large casserole dish with potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Pork chops coated in flour.
    Coat the pork chops with the flour.
  • Browning each side of the pork chops.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet. Brown the pork chops on each side.
  • Browned pork chops in the baking dish over the potatoes.
    Arrange the pork chops on top of the potatoes.
  • Heating soup and water.
    In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the soup and water.
  • Soup mixture poured over the pork chops.
    Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops and potatoes.
  • Dish covered in foil and baking in the oven.
    Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
