Ingredients For poor man's simple supper

1 pkgegg noodles, no-yolk variety

12 oz. pkgbreaded chicken fillets, frozen

1 lgonion, chopped

4 Tbspbutter
-
2 Tbspflour
-
1/4 tspsalt

1 dashwhite pepper, to taste

1 tspgarlic powder
-
2 cheavy cream
-
1/4 cwhite wine, dry

2 Tbspparsley
How To Make poor man's simple supper

1Prepare fillets according to package directions.

2Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

3Meanwhile, in a 1 qt saucepan cook onion in hot butter until tender, but not brown.

4Whisk in flour, salt, pepper & garlic powder. Add cream all at once. Simmer & cook, stirring, until thickened, about 2 minutes.

5Whisk in the wine & parsley; cook 2 minutes longer.

6To serve, arrange noodles on warm serving platter. Place hot fillets on top. Pour some of the sauce over fillets; pass remaining sauce.
