Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 cups chicken, cooked and diced
  • 16 ounces salsa
  • 2 cups monterey jack cheese, shredded

How To Make pollo picante

  • Step 1
    Combine soup, milk, mushrooms, onion, salt, pepper and chili powder. Mix thoroughly.
  • Step 2
    Layer ingredients in greased 13x9 dish in this order: Chicken, rice, soup mixture, salsa, cheese
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
