Ingredients

  • 2 c
    cooked rice
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    mushrooms sliced
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 3 c
    chicken, cooked and diced
  • 16 oz
    salsa
  • 2 c
    monterey jack cheese, shredded

How to Make Pollo Picante

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine soup, milk, mushrooms, onion, salt, pepper and chili powder. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Layer ingredients in greased 13x9 dish in this order:
    Chicken, rice, soup mixture, salsa, cheese
  3. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
