    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 clove
    garlic, chopped.
  • 1 large
    can tomatoes
  • 1 c
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 large
    bell pepper

How to Make Polla Alla Caccatoria


  1. Cut chicken, season with salt and pepper, roll in flour. Heat olive oil in skillet, add chicken and brown on all sides,"about 20 minutes."
    Stem, seed and slice bell peppers lengthwise. Mix with onions garlic and tomatoes. Add to chicken. Cover and simmer slowly about 40 minutes. Add mushrooms and continue to simmer 15 minutes, until chicken and mushrooms are tender.
    Serve hot.
