I created this recipe for the Pita Challenge for CQ3.

Ingredients

  • 1 - pita bread, cut in half
  • 1/2 pound chicken breast, cooked and sliced into strips
  • 1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 - onions, sliced thinly into strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • - tzatziki sauce, to taste
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 - tomato, sliced thinly

How To Make pita pocket with chicken and onions

  • Step 1
    Put oil in frying pan on medium heat,
  • Step 2
    Add onions and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add mushrooms and cook for another 3 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add Chicken and garlic and cook until heated through 4-5 minutes
  • Step 5
    Divide the contents of the skillet and put 1/2 in each pita half.
  • Step 6
    Add tomato slices, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce per your choice.
