pineapple/garlic chicken thighs

hubby doesn't like pineapple so i don't make this often but i sure lov it...grillin his chicken plan makin mine this way...

skin on chicken thighs
1 can(s)
pineapple chunks ,in there own juice-no sugar added
garlic cloves..... to taste[ i used 8]
finely sliced jalopeno pepper, to taste
1/2 jar(s)
no sugar added strawberry jelly
1 bunch
green onions chopped well
1/4 c
apple cider vinegar
1 tsp
onion powder
1/4 tsp
seasoning salt
1/2 tsp
fresh ground pepper[i use multi color]


1rinse cicken well set on paper towel
2in gallon size zip bag add everything else shake well to distribute all add chicken put in fridge overnight.. turn chicken several times while in fridge massagein juices into meat
3remove from fridge right after u start charcoal grill[bout 30 min before grill will be ready] take chicken out of marinate and drain well
4take marinate and put in food processor once a liquid put in med pan cook on med heat til reduced by half..
5once grill is hot add chicken cook til done... add marinate during last 15-20 minutes of cookin turning several times to add it serve on lg plater with a few green onion on top for garnish enjoy!!!!!!
6NOTE....... i have made this with manderin oranges and orange marmalade since hubby dislikes pineapple that is good too..
7NOTE........... this can also be baked in the oven for bout 90 min at 350
