Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 - chicken, cut up
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- - mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup half & half
- 1 jar pimientos (4 oz), chopped
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- - hot cooked noodles
How To Make pimiento chicken

Step 1Heat butter in heavy skillet. Add chicken, sprinkle with salt and paprika, and brown on both sides. Lower heat, add mushrooms, and saute about 5 minutes.

Step 2Stir in onions. In a small bowl, mix flour with small amount of broth, stir till smooth. Add flour and broth to chicken in pan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer, covered, 30 minutes.

Step 3Stir in the cream, pimientos, and parsley, and simmer 5 minutes more. (*Nuts...i forgot the parsley)

Step 4Stir and serve, ladling sauce over chicken.

Step 5Good served over hot noodles. I like to serve green peas on the side, which go nicely with the mushroom cream sauce..
