peanut butter baked chicken thighs
This recipe is based on YouTube's BBQ Pit Boys video for peanut butter chicken. I created this delicious recipe, baking the chicken in the oven, and I used lime juice instead of lemon.

Ingredients
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 3/4 cup honey
- 3 teaspoons black pepper
- 12 - bone-in fresh chicken thighs
How To Make peanut butter baked chicken thighs

Step 1In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, brown sugar, cider vinegar, lime juice, honey and black pepper.

Step 2Whisk together until blended and smooth.

Step 3Place 6 bone-in chicken thighs in a large ziptop bag and the remaining 6 chicken thighs in another ziptop bag.

Step 4Spoon the peanut butter mixture into the two bags of chicken, squeeze all the air out of the bag, and seal. Shake a few times to coat the chicken; refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 5Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 6Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with cooking spray.

Step 7Using tongs, grab the chicken thighs out of the ziptop bags and place them on a prepared baking sheet.

Step 8Brush the chicken thighs with the mixture out of the bags.

Step 9Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until no longer pink and juices run clear.
