    chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 c
    flour, salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    peach haves(16oz), drained

How to Make Peachy Chicken


  1. Pre heat oven to 375. Shake chicken breasts in bag with flour,salt & pepper
  2. Combine butter and oil in pan over med-med high heat and brown chicken breasts
  3. Combine orange juice,vinegar, sugar,basil and nutmeg in small bowl. Place chicken breasts in a 3-quart casserole dish, and pour mixture over chicken.
  4. Cover and bake for 1hr.and 15 min or until tender. Baste often if desired.
  5. Place peach haves between chicken pieces, baste well, and baked uncovered 15 min. longer.
  6. *** you can mix juice from canned fruit with the orange juice. Fresh peaches can be used but put them in after 1 hr.
