Ingredients

  • 6 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1/2 cup flour, salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 can peach haves(16oz), drained

How To Make peachy chicken

  • Step 1
    Pre heat oven to 375. Shake chicken breasts in bag with flour,salt & pepper
  • Step 2
    Combine butter and oil in pan over med-med high heat and brown chicken breasts
  • Step 3
    Combine orange juice,vinegar, sugar,basil and nutmeg in small bowl. Place chicken breasts in a 3-quart casserole dish, and pour mixture over chicken.
  • Step 4
    Cover and bake for 1hr.and 15 min or until tender. Baste often if desired.
  • Step 5
    Place peach haves between chicken pieces, baste well, and baked uncovered 15 min. longer.
  • Step 6
    *** you can mix juice from canned fruit with the orange juice. Fresh peaches can be used but put them in after 1 hr.
