Pasta with Chicken & Veggies
1 pkgspagheti noodles ( small pkg)
2chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
1 csliced mushrooms ( your favorite kind) or more if you want
1/2 conion thinly sliced
1 cred bell pepper thinly sliced
3 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin
4 Tbspbutter ,divided
3 Tbspold bay seasoning (blackened)
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Pasta with Chicken & Veggies
- Slice peppers, onions and mushrooms. Dice chicken breast into about 1 inch chunks.
- In a large skillet heat evoo and 1 tablespoon butter add chicken and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon Old Bay Blackened seasoning. Cook until done. About 6 minutes or so. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking add remaining butter to skillet and cook peppers onions and mushrooms until done. ( I cooked peppers and onions for about 3 minutes then added the mushrooms). When pasta is done drain, salt & pepper to taste. ( add about 1 tablespoon butter to pasta,,,,optional)
- Place pasta on plate, add veggies and top with chicken.
