pasta and chicken in roasted garlic sauce
I use the corkscrew noodles because they have little ridges that catch the sauce. This is my little sister's favorite meal.

You won't get bored eating this chicken dinner. Roasting the garlic and mixing it with butter adds a deep, rich flavor to the creamy Parmesan sauce. Bite-sized pieces of chicken breasts and chunks of broccoli soak up the flavor of the sauce. The roasted garlic sauce sticks to the corkscrew pasta nicely, but you could use any shape of pasta you prefer.

Ingredients
- 10 cloves garlic
- 3 - chicken breasts
- salt, pepper, or your favorite seasonings
- 1 cup butter, divided
- 1/2 cup chopped fine onions
- 2 pints half and half
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 box corkscrew pasta or whatever pasta you prefer
- 1 package chopped broccoli
How To Make pasta and chicken in roasted garlic sauce

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and take the outer skins off the garlic.

Step 2Place the garlic in the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, season the chicken with salt and pepper or your favorite seasonings. Place the chicken in the oven with the garlic.

Step 3Take the garlic out when it is soft, about 40-45 minutes. Finish cooking the chicken until it is done.

Step 4In a skillet, place 1/2 cup of butter. Add the onions and squeeze the soft garlic, mashing it into the butter.

Step 5Cook until onions are translucent. Then add the remaining 1/2 cup of butter, half and half, and oregano. Turn the heat to low.

Step 6Place a pan of water on the stove and bring to a boil to cook the noodles. Add noodles when the water comes to a boil and cook according to package directions.

Step 7Take the chicken out of the oven and cut into bite-size chunks or shred.

Step 8Add the chicken and 1 cup of Parmesan cheese to the garlic sauce.

Step 9Stir the cheese, sauce, and chicken so that it is combined. Leave on low heat.

Step 10Add the broccoli to the pasta when the pasta is almost done.

Step 11Drain the pasta and broccoli, and put them into a large dish.

Step 12Pour the chicken and garlic sauce over the pasta. Toss and sprinkle the remaining cup of Parmesan over the pasta.
