This recipe came from an old church cookbook from the 1980's.Its very good served with a side of spaghetti marinara.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 2-3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 6-8 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4-1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • - chopped fresh parsley for garnish

How To Make parmesan chicken

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a pie plate combine butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Place paprika, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a large plastic bag and shake to mix. Dip each chicken breast in butter mixture and place in bag. Shake to cover chicken with breading. Lay each piece in ungreased 9 by 13 inch baking pan and drizzle with any remaining butter mixture.
  • Step 2
    Cover dish with foil. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove fil and continue to bake for 10-15 minutes or until chicken is done and juices run clear. Great served as is or add a side of spaghetti marinara and fresh chpped parsley garnish. These also are really good in an Italian roll with Provalone cheese and marinara sauce.
