Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken thighs pounded to be the same thickness all over
- 2 tablespoons duck fat or oil
- salt and pepper
- THE SAUCE
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/2 cup each orange juice and chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil and chili garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped chilies seeds removed
How To Make pan seared chicken thighs w hoisin sesame sauce

Step 1Add the duck fat or oil to a large skillet. Add salt and pepper to chicken. Sear the chicken on both sides for about 6 minutes. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside.

Step 2Add the garlic to the drippings in the pan. Cook 30 seconds. Add the orange juice and deglaze the pan. Add the hoisin sauce, and chicken stock. Bring to a boil.

Step 3Reduce heat and add the chili sauce and fresh chilies. Add the chicken back to the pan with any juices. Add the sesame oil

Step 4Cook until chicken is fully done.
