Ingredients For pan seared chicken thighs w hoisin sesame sauce

    boneless chicken thighs pounded to be the same thickness all over
  • 2 Tbsp
    duck fat or oil
  • salt and pepper
  • THE SAUCE
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/3 c
    hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 c
    each orange juice and chicken stock
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil and chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp
    fresh chopped chilies seeds removed

How To Make pan seared chicken thighs w hoisin sesame sauce

    Add the duck fat or oil to a large skillet. Add salt and pepper to chicken. Sear the chicken on both sides for about 6 minutes. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside.

    Add the garlic to the drippings in the pan. Cook 30 seconds. Add the orange juice and deglaze the pan. Add the hoisin sauce, and chicken stock. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and add the chili sauce and fresh chilies. Add the chicken back to the pan with any juices. Add the sesame oil

    Cook until chicken is fully done.
