Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, optional if using salted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 24 - saltine crackers, finely crushed
- 3 1/2 pounds chicken pieces
How To Make oven-fried chicken

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place margarine in 15x10 1/2x 1-in. baking pan; set aside.

Step 2Combine flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper in a medium size bowl (big enough to roll chicken); have cracker crumbs in a bowl

Step 3Combine egg and milk in a separate bowl. Roll chicken in flour mixture, dip into egg mixture and then roll in cracker crumbs

Step 4Place coated chicken in baking pan. Bake 30 minutes; Turn. Bake and additional 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
