An easy to make, less messy than frying, fried chicken in the oven. Marvelous!

Ingredients

  • 2 - 2-1/2 to 3 pound chickens, cut up
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

How To Make oven fried chicken

  • Step 1
    Place flour in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Put the bread crumbs and paprika in another bowl and beat the eggs with the garlic powder in another bowl (3 bowls),
  • Step 2
    Dredge the chicken, piece by piece, in the flour, then the egg, then the bread crumbs, until all pieces are coated.
  • Step 3
    Place the butter into a 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Add the chicken. to the dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes., turning every 15 minutes. then turn the heat up to 375 degrees for remaining 30 minutes, turning every 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Remove from oven and drain on paper towels for 10 minutes.
