Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 pounds cut up whole chicken

How To Make oven- fried chicken

  • Step 1
    heat oven to 425 degrees. melt butter in a 13 X 9 pan in oven
  • Step 2
    In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, salt & pepper. Coat chicken with flour mixture. Place chicken skin side down, in pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake uncovered 30 mins. Turn chicken and bake about 30 mins. longer or until juice is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (170 degs. for breasts; 180 degs. for thighs & legs).
