butter

flour

paprika
1/2 tsp

1/4 tsp
pepper

cut up whole chicken

How to Make Oven- Fried Chicken

Step-by-Step

  • 1heat oven to 425 degrees. melt butter in a 13 X 9 pan in oven
  • 2In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, salt & pepper. Coat chicken with flour mixture. Place chicken skin side down, in pan.
  • 3Bake uncovered 30 mins. Turn chicken and bake about 30 mins. longer or until juice is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (170 degs. for breasts; 180 degs. for thighs & legs).
