yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken (whole cut up or breasts)
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon season all
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

How To Make oven fried chicken

  • Step 1
In a storage bag, soak the chicken pieces in the milk for 20-30 minutes. While chicken is soaking, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the butter into a few pieces & put put it in a 9x13 pan. Melt the butter in the pre-heated oven. Swirl the butter around the pan to evenly coat the bottom. Add some Pam if needed making sure there are no dry spots.
  • Step 2
Place the flour & spices in a storage bag & shake till blended. Shake excess milk off the chicken, place it in the bag, shake until all pieces are evenly coated.
  • Step 3
Place each piece in the pan & bake for 20 minutes. Turn the chicken over & cook for an additional 20 minutes or until completely cooked. The result...crispy, crunchy oven fried chicken...enjoy!
  • Step 4
TIP: I used 1 tsp. of seasoned salt in place of the salt & season all.
