oven fire chicken
In an effort to try to make a healthy fried chicken meal that my husband, who puts hot sauce on everything, would like I came up with this recipe. You can make it as hot as you like, I toned it down some for my daughter we still enjoyed it, although hubby still added hot sauce.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast flattened 1/4 inch
- 2 cups flour
- 1-2 tablespoon cajun seasoning
- 3 - eggs
- 1/4 cup hot sauce - depending on how hot you want it
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups italian breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons dried thyme
- - salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter cut in small pats
- - cooking spray
How To Make oven fire chicken

Step 1Pre heat oven 400 degrees, Place a cookie cooling rack inside of a cookie sheet, spray with cooking spray, gather 3 flat bowls for dredging the chicken

Step 2Season the chicken with the salt and pepper

Step 3In a flat bowl mix the flour and Cajun seasoning together

Step 4In another flat bowl whisk the eggs, water and hot sauce together

Step 5In another flat bowl mix the thyme and breadcrumbs

Step 6Dredge the chicken first in the flour mixture next in the egg mixture and lastly in the breadcrumb mixture.

Step 7Place the chicken on the prepared cookie sheet with the rack

Step 8Bake in the oven for about 45 mins or until it is nice and crispy.
