Orange Chinese Chicken

1 Tbspsesame seeds

2 lbchicken cutlets

1/6 tspsalt & pepper or to taste

15 ozcan mandarin oranges in light syrup

1 cchicken broth

2 Tbsplow-sodium soy sauce

2 Tbspcornstarch
How to Make Orange Chinese Chicken
- Heat oil and sesame seeds in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add zest strips and cook, stirring until slightly cooked. Meanwhile season both sides of chicken with salt and pepper.
- When zest is finished add chicken to skillet and cook until golden.
- Add oranges with liquid to skillet and simmer for about 3 minutes.
- Whisk together broth, soy sauce and cornstarch in a bowl. Add mixture to pan with chicken and simmer until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
