Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless chicken, chopped to bite size pieces
- 1 - egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- - oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- ORANGE SAUCE
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons water
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 5 tablespoons white vinegar
- - zest of 1 orange
How To Make orange chicken

Step 1Place chicken pieces in large bowl.

Step 2Stir egg, salt, and 1 tablespoon oil and mix well. Stir cornstarch and flour together. Add chicken pieces, stirring to coat.

Step 3Heat oil for deep frying. Add chicken. Cook in small batches for 3-4 minutes. Do not over cook.

Step 4Remove chicken and drain on paper towels. Set aside.

Step 5Mix orange sauce ingredients together.

Step 6In a clean skillet add 1 tablespoon of oil,Stir fry for 10 seconds. Add green onion and rice wine vinegar and stir for about 5 seconds. Add orange sauce and bring to a boil. Add cooked chicken and stir until coated.
