orange carmel ginger chicken
Trying to get a sauce like cheeseake factories orange chicken sauce this is what I came up with..it is worth the time and prep

Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
- 2 cups flour
- 1 - raw egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- - oil for frying
- CARMEL SAUCE
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 5 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 teaspoons corn starch
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger root
- 1/2 cup green onions chopped fine
How To Make orange carmel ginger chicken

Step 1Cube the chicken into bite size chunks

Step 2dip into beaten egg and dredge in seasoned flour

Step 3deep fry pieces until chicken is golden brown and no pink left..approx. 4 minutes depending on size of chunks

Step 4drain and put into large mixing bowl

Step 5prepare sauce on stove

Step 6..all ingredients brought to a thickening boil

Step 7pour over prepared chicken and stir until well coated..put in serving bowl and sprinkle chopped onions

Step 8serve with rice
