  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 pounds bone in chicken breasts halves (about 4)
  • 2 medium all purpose potatoes, cut into chunks (about 1 pound)
  • 2 carrots, sliced

How To Make onion roasted chicken and vegetables

  • Step 1
    In large bowl, add all ingredients and toss in bowl, until chicken and vegetables are coated.
  • Step 2
    In 9 X 13 inch baking pan, arrange chicken breast side up, and vegetables.
  • Step 3
    Bake, uncovered, basting halfway through , 45 minutes at 450 degrees.
