THIS RECIPE WAS GIVEN TO ME BY MY COUSIN...IT SAT WITH ALL OF MY OTHER RECIPES FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS B4 I TRIED IT. IT HAS A FEW INGREDIENTS THAT JUST DIDNT SOUND LIKE THEY SHOULD B MIXED, THEN I TRIED IT N NOW I MAKE IT OFTEN JUST DELICIOUS .... GIVE IT A TRY U WILL LOVE IT :)

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken thighs (skinless n cut in 1/2)
  • 2 large chicken breast (skinless n cut in 3 pieces)
  • 1 large onion, choppd
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can tomato sauce (i used rotel ...spicy tomato sauce) 8 0z
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 10 3/4 0z
  • 1 jar green olives n its juice (with or without pimentos) 7 oz
  • - salt n pepper

How To Make olive chicken

  • Step 1
    GATHER INGREDIENTS FOR THIS YUMMY DISH
  • Step 2
    SALT N PEPPER BOTH SIDES OF CHICKEN PIECES N BROWN IN VEGETABLE OIL THEN REMOVE FROM PAN N PUT ASIDE.
  • Step 3
    SAUTE CHOPPD ONIONS (JUST TILL TURNN COLOR) IN OIL THAT U BROWNED CHICKEN IN. (U COULD ADD SLICED MUSHROOMS WITH ONIONS USUALLY DO BUT HAD NONE) :(
  • Step 4
    ADD TOMATO SAUCE, CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP N GREEN OLIVES WITH ITS JUICE.
  • Step 5
    STIR THIS MIXTURE UNTIL COMBINED N ADD BACK BROWND CHICKEN. STIR UNTIL CHICKEN IS COATED N COVER PAN N COOK ON A SIMMER FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES...STIRRING OCCASIONALLY. SERVE ON WHITE RICE N.....ENJOY :)
