My entire family loves this dish, it's tasty, quick and versatile. Sometimes I add drained peas and carrots or whatever veggie I fancy at the moment.

Ingredients
- 4- 6 large chicken breast halves
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 8 oz packages sour cream
- 8 oz packages shredded cheddar cheese (i use sharp cheddar)
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves
- 1-2 - bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 package french fried onions
How To Make off the chain chicken casserole

Step 1Place chicken in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add rosemary, bay leaves, onion powder, garlic powder, lemon pepper, thyme, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until chicken is done and tender. Remove chicken and set aside to cool then, de-bone and shred or chop the meat.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine soup, sour cream, 3/4 pkg shredded cheese (reserve some for top), and butter. Mix well and stir in the chicken meat. Spread mixture evenly into a greased casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese and french fried onions. Bake for 15-25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve and enjoy!
