Everyone in the family loves this and it gives you 2 1/2 hours to do other things. It is so hard not to peek as the aroma fills your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts or thighs ( season to taste )
  • 1 cup uncooked, regular long grain rice
  • 1/2 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 can milk, ( using soup can )
  • 3 teaspoons water

How To Make no peek chicken

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix together all ingredients, except onion soup mix and place in pan.
  • Step 3
    Arrange chicken pieces on top; cover with onion soup mix.
  • Step 4
    Place cover of foil over pan, sealing tightly.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OR PEEK.
  • Step 6
    Note:Cream of mushroom soup can be substituted for one of the soups. You can also purchase fat free soup if you are trying to watch your calories.
