This is my version of chicken Pad Thai. Sweet, salty with a bit of spice.

Ingredients

  • SAUCE

  • 4 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili garlic sauce
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    peanut oil
  • 4
    boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into chunks
  • 8 clove
    garlic minced
  • 8 oz
    rice noodles
  • 2 c
    bean sprouts
  • 1 bunch
    green onions chopped
  • 2 small
    limes juiced
  • 1 c
    cilantro chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make My Spin on Chicken Pad Thai

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix the ingredients for sauce together and set aside.
    Cook the noodles according to package instructions drain and set aside.
    Add the peanut oil to a large wok or skillet.
    Place the chicken int he pan and brown on all sides.
    Add the garlic and cook 2 minutes. Pour in the sauce and cook 3 minutes. Add the noddles. Stir and cook 2 minutes.
  2. Add the bean sprouts and green onions. Cook 1 minute.Add the lime juice.
    Serve topped with cilantro and chopped pecans.
