I stumbled upon this combination one day when I did not have enough of what I wanted to make originally for my lunch. In my refrigerator I had a little of every thing that's in this salad. I put it together and garnished it with some sharp and mozorella cheese and cracked glazed pecans. Needless to say I had more than enough. The following day I took what was left to a co-worker and it was a hit. Been making it every since enjoy it with or without meat. Some warm toast or garlic bread with cheese is great with this and if you got a sweet tooth use a little apricot marmalade with your bread...that's good eating. "ENJOY"

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pkg
    green salad mix or fresh lettuce,
  • 1 small
    cucumber chopped
  • 6 small
    cherry tomatoes or 1 large tomato diced
  • 1 small
    vidila onion chopped fine or small red onion sliced
  • 6 oz
    fresh fruit of your choice or can fruit medley
  • 4 oz
    roasted chicken or turkey (optional)
  • 2 sprig(s)
    fresh parsley or use the flakes (your choice)
  • 2 Tbsp
    mozarella cheese or cheddar chesse
  • 4 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 4 oz
    glazed pecans, cashews or walnuts
  • MY EDEN SALAD ORIGINATED FROM A SPIRITUAL ASPECT. WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH THE LORD PROVIDES MORE THAN ENOUGH.

How to Make "MY EDEN SALAD"

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend every thing as is in the recipe except the garnishes. Add all the garnishes last for your own taste.
  2. drain any excess liquids from lettuce and fruit as possible. This is a plain and simple salad..it's also inspirational in using what you have on hand. This salad is good with whatever sald dressing you perfer..you may not want any (:
