I stumbled upon this combination one day when I did not have enough of what I wanted to make originally for my lunch. In my refrigerator I had a little of every thing that's in this salad. I put it together and garnished it with some sharp and mozorella cheese and cracked glazed pecans. Needless to say I had more than enough. The following day I took what was left to a co-worker and it was a hit. Been making it every since enjoy it with or without meat. Some warm toast or garlic bread with cheese is great with this and if you got a sweet tooth use a little apricot marmalade with your bread...that's good eating. "ENJOY"
